If you are suffering from an eating disorder please seek help, they are not glamorous and can very well kill you.
🌹1. Plastic baggies are amazing to measure out a set amount of calories. Hide them in underwear drawers, your backpack, inside of folded pants, and even in your shoes if you are scared of a family member finding them. I keep baggies with food in them inside folded clothes and my locker at school. I wash and reuse them so I dont use all of my moms baggies up and hide empty ones underneath my keyboard, mattress, and in my backpack.
🌹2. Always eat infront of family members only. I usually just wait until my mom gets home and then I’m in the living room and kitchen eating grapes and low calorie foods.
🌹3. Always try to go to dinner, even if its high calorie foods. Family and friends will start to catch on if you are constantly “sick” during dinner time or “already ate.” I ask my family when we will have a good dinner and restrict until dinner time.
🌹4. Never use the same excuse more than 3 times with the same person.
🌹5. DO NOT PURGE!! There are so many reasons why purging is bad for you plus your family will catch on!!!
🌹6. Don’t say “too many calories.” Try: “Im trying to stay off of fast food,” “too much grease/sugar makes me break out,” “Ill try it but I dont think I like (insert food),” “Im allergic (use that one cautiously),” “My doctor told me to stay off high carb/sugar/fatty foods,” “Im sorry but im kinda nauseous right now, ill have some later”
🌹7. Start going to after-school activities. I do this and it helps me stay away from food and family until I get home.
🌹8. Take a lot of showers, especially during dinner time so you can say you had some leftovers.
🌹9. Dirty up plates and leave them out. My mom was suspicious of me having an eating disorder until I started leaving out plates with little bits of cereal in them or some spaghetti sauce and noodles.
🌹10. Always clean your own room and do your own laundry so parents or guardians dont go in there to help tidy things up for you.
🌹11. If you pay for lunch at school, save up the money you get for lunch and you can use it to buy gum or your own personal items.
🌹12. Do not keep chew and spit bags in your room for longer than 24 hours unless they are well hidden and family has no way of finding them.
🌹13. Be VERY CAREFUL with grabbing some food off your plate and hiding it in napkins. Ive been caught doing this before and its not fun.
🌹14. This is kind of embarrassing and not worth it in my book, but try to take a big bite of your food during dinner or breakfast time and start to fake choke/cough the food out into a napkin.
🌹15. Hide and lock any screenshots of diets, workouts, thinspo, or anything ED related.
🌹16. Wash your clothes with hot water if they start to fit too big.
🌹17. Dont take laxatives, they seem like a quick fix, but can turn into a long term problem.
🌹18. If your family notices you working out a lot more often say: “I want to be on track and field next year,” “I want to lose some weight,” “Isnt it good to work out?,” “There is an afterschool fitness program and (best friend) wants me to go with him/her/them so I wanna train so I don’t make a fool of myself when I go (when the day comes you can just go on a run and take the long way home , or say your friend flaked)
🌹19. If you are going to the doctors office and are scared of your dr noticing how much weight youve lost, just go. Dont carry rocks in your pockets or anything. Your doctor can help you.
🌹20. Recover
Number 20 is super important and the best ED hack!
drink water!!!! dance in your room!!!!!! eat a lot of veggies!!!!!! dance as you do chores!!!!!! eat some fruit!!!!!!!! let yourself feel sad!!!!! have that $5 hot drink sometimes!!!!! try to smile even when you’re alone and doing some work!!!! listen to music that makes you happy when you’re feeling down!!!!!! we’ve all gone through crap and life might have more in store for us but we got this!!!!!
Hi lovelies I have a very important message to get across. I am an emt and today we had a person who was fasting just by drinking water and overdid it. Yes, you can drink too much water. The result? Water intoxication. Or water poisoning. It is actually dangerous and you will go to the hospital. I am also trying to lose weight and I am doing so by restricting. But you need to understand that “drinking water until it hurts” or “drink a liter of water every hour” isn’t a good idea. It is dangerous. So drink water, but in moderation. Stay safe my lovelies. ❤️❤️❤️

I know that people like to perpetuate that everything will magically fix itself when you get thin, but let’s be clear…
ANOREXIA WILL NOT FIX YOUR SKIN, in fact it generally makes it look worse
The only way that would be possible is if you went from a really bad diet to a really clean and healthy one (And only if your skin problems are even effected by your diet) and EDs aren’t exactly known for their amazing health benefits
I know it’s nice to imagine that starving will fix everything, but it really won’t. Stay safe.
Starving yourself is not healthy but neither is binging.
If you absolutely can’t avoid a binge, binge on a cantaloupe or honeydew. There’s around 186 cals in a medium cantaloupe. And 320 in an average honeydew. Or a cup blackberries has 62 cals. And 85 cals in one cup of blueberries.

Seven years with my EDs, almost six with depression and anxiety, and just about a year since my therapist suggest I see a psychiatrist about a likely bi polar diagnosis….still haven’t gone since I’m broke but 🤷♂️
I’ve had anxiety my whole life. I’ve been telling my counselor and doctor about my symptoms of depression but I don’t know if I have it. I looked up the symptoms and it’s likely. I’ve had my ED for a little over a year. I’m surprised my doctor didn’t 9 I lost nine lbs in a week (unhealthy!!). I currently weigh 173 lbs and when my ED started I was 181 lbs. Maybe they aren’t talking to me about it cuz they know I’ll come up with excuses or avoid their questions 🤷♀️

He will steal your pictures, he will not remove them even if you ask, and it doesn’t matter if you are underage. This person is a predator. He will reblog your pictures and attach a disgusting and usually degrading caption to them, please do yourself a favour and block him. He will most likely steal multiple pictures if he can, so it’s best to block him before he can steal more or steal them at all. His followers will harass you also, it is very very annoying and not worth the hassle.
Spread the word to any of your friends who post selfies or any form of body pictures. You all deserve better.
